Team Liaison Officer (TLO)

Each of the 30 Championship teams requires a local representative to make their life easier while they plan for the trip and for the two weeks that they are here in Manchester.

TLO must be very accessible and responsive via email and phone for the next ten months, and particularly from July 10-24

TLO must have a very good knowledge of Manchester

TLO must be open and patient with foreign cultures. (TLO may be assigned to any of the 30 countries).

Bench Official

Bench officials sit alongside the pitch and will take on a role of a scorekeeper,timekeeper or statistician.

Knowledge of lacrosse is preferred, but not required.

Steward

Able to be on foot for long periods.

Good communication skills - helpful and articulate.

Information Personnel

Provide fans and players with event information.

Knowledgeable about the local area.

Good communication skills - helpful and articulate.

Programme Seller

Responsible and trustworthy with money.

Outgoing.

Ready to be on your feet for multipule hours.

Physiotherapist

There is a requirement for multiple physiotherapists to be available on-site for the period of the Championship and Festival.

Qualified Physiotherapist (part qualified working under qualified supervision).

7-hour shift.

Camera Operator

All games will be recorded for the purpose  of web streaming. One camera will be used to record each pitch.

Knowledge and/or experience of camera work preffered but not essential.

Good knowledge of men's lacrosse- ability to pre-empt play.

Website Operator

The event website will be used as a reporting and analysis tool for those interested in the World Championships but unable to travel to the event.

IT literate.

Experience of content management systems.

Knowledge of men's lacrosse scoring and stats.

Ground Staff

This group will ensure each pitch and bench is marked and stocked (goals, balls) to the standard required.

Must be of an adequate fitness level, there may be some lfiting and carrying. Most of the day will be spend stood up or walking.

Medic

We are seeking a crew of professional doctors to share 24 hour event coverage for all Championships athletes for the length of the tournament.
